This set can be used to play the following card games depending on age and/or ability of the players. There is a set for each Phase 2 sound. Go Spider! (played the same as Go Fish!), Pairs (memory game) and Snap. Instructions for how to play are included in the file. Cards could also be used for sorting and matching activities.

A set of 5 boards one for each short vowel sound. Set 1-5 sounds from Phase 2 and Sets 6&7 from Phase 3 have been used to make the words. Words are CVC or VCC Perfect for practicing blending in preparation for Phonics Screening.

There are four sets of puzzles, each set is slightly different. CVCC words have final blend missing and CCV/CCVC are missing the initial blends (words using sets 1-7 letters – orange, words using Phase 3 graphemes – purple) CVCC/CCCVC/CCCVCC are missing both beginning and final and finally the polysyllabic is matching the syllables to the picture.

The word lotto has additional words that are not included in the Word Time! lists to allowed challenge and extra practice . There is a board game for each set of sounds and 2 word lotto boards for Word Time! 2- 6. Word Time! 7 has 4 board and Word Time! 1 has just a single board. A great alternative to flashcards.

These match the Phase 3 Picture and Sentence Matching that I also have for sale. I've tried to keep as much in black, white and grey to save on ink but some pictures were not clear unless in colour. Colour the words to make the sentence for the picture. Then have a go at writing it underneath.
